Cavefit Games vs HybridX Off Season Games: distancia, estaciones, precio y dificultad comparados (2026)

The Off Season Games is a no-run team competition from HybridX, the North Wales fitness event company. HybridX created it after its first three Stride races, when athletes asked for an event without running. The first edition took place on 8 February 2025 at the Eirias Events Centre in Colwyn Bay, and a Kids Edition has followed.

Teams of three rotate through three workout zones, each run as an E3MOM (every 3 minutes on the minute) for 18 minutes. In each zone one athlete completes a set task, such as devil presses, wall balls or a 40 m sled push, while the other two build calories on a SkiErg, rower or bike. Once the task is done, all three add calories, and the team with the highest total across the three zones wins. It suits teams who prefer strength and engine work to running.
