What is Conquer The Gauntlet?

Conquer The Gauntlet is a family-owned obstacle course race company based in Oklahoma. Its current event is CTG Tulsa, held at 181 Ranch in Bixby, Oklahoma.

The course is 4 miles long with more than 25 large obstacles, and the organisers stress it is not a mud run or a 5K with a few walls. Waves start every 15 minutes through the day and participants choose their time slot. To be ranked as an overall champion, racers must run in the first (elite/competitive) wave and complete every obstacle, repeating failed attempts as often as needed; those competing for overall places wear a cloth belt provided at the start. Later open waves allow runners to move on from an obstacle. There is a kids' course for ages 12 and under, and group pricing for teams. The event suits fit runners who want challenging, upper-body-heavy obstacles, while open waves give newer racers a way in.

What is REDLINE Fitness Games?

REDLINE Fitness Games is a gamified functional fitness race series created in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 2023 and organised by Fresh Events Asia Sdn Bhd. It has expanded across Southeast Asia, with events in Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Singapore and Ho Chi Minh City.

The race takes participants through 12 workout stations, including a 500 m run, SkiErg, deadball over shoulder, BikeErg, farmers carry, shuttle runs, plank pull, sandbag gauntlet, rowing, burpee thrusters, sandbag carries and a final sled push and pull. The workout is standardised for each calendar year, with two or three stations changed annually. Singles race at three levels (Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced) for men and women, alongside men's, women's and mixed doubles and four-person team relays. The organiser says the race takes about 30 to 55 minutes depending on level. The Beginner level makes it accessible to gym-goers new to fitness racing.
