What is Devils Circuit?
Maruti Suzuki Swift Devils Circuit is an obstacle race series in India, founded by Adnan Adeeb and produced by Spectacom Global. It describes itself as India's first obstacle race and is now in its 14th season, touring 12 Indian cities including Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Kochi, with a finale in Delhi.
Each race is a 5 km course with 15 obstacles. Categories include Competitive, where men must clear 15 obstacles within 50 minutes and women 13 within 70 minutes to qualify for the leaderboard, a limited Pro Wave, Competitive Doubles, a Corporate Cup for teams of three, and Non-Competitive waves with no clock. The fastest 25 competitive racers qualify for the season finale. Finishers receive a medal, T-shirt and bandana, with hydration every kilometre. The non-competitive waves suit beginners and groups; the competitive categories need good running and grip strength.
