Wild Hybrid Manchester 12. Juni 2027

Wild Hybrid Manchester takes over Heaton Park on 12 June 2027, one of the largest parks in Greater Manchester with more than 600 acres of parkland, woodland, trails and open countryside around the historic Heaton Hall. Competitors tackle a mix of trail paths, parkland and woodland routes across the estate, right on the city's doorstep.

Wild Hybrid is a UK hybrid fitness race that combines off-road running with outdoor functional workouts. The format alternates five 1 km trail runs with five workout stations and finishes with a 5 km trail run, about 10 km of running in total, with standard and scaled weights at the stations. Manchester lists Solo and Pairs divisions plus 5 km and 10 km Ruck Run options for athletes who want to carry weight instead.

Start times are emailed to competitors one week before the event and can fall anywhere between 8am and 5pm, so keep the whole day free. Pairs run side by side and alternate reps at the stations, which makes it the easier entry; the race suits trail runners and functional fitness athletes who prefer racing outdoors. Register on the official Wild Hybrid site.
