HYROX Manchester 20 Jan 2027

HYROX Manchester is staged at Manchester Central, the former railway station turned convention complex in the city centre, from 20 January 2027. The vaulted Victorian hall, a few minutes' walk from Deansgate and Oxford Road stations, gives the race a very different feel from an out-of-town exhibition centre, and the organisers describe the Manchester crowd as among the loudest in the UK.

The race is the standard HYROX course: 1 km run, workout station, repeated eight times, with Open and Pro loads and the fixed station order from SkiErg to wall balls. Manchester offers Individual Open and Pro, Doubles Open and Pro, and the four-person Relay. Pro divisions decide World Championship age-group places; Open has no cut-off time.

A January date makes Manchester the natural target for athletes who trained through the autumn and want a mid-winter result, and the city-centre venue means hotels, food and transport are all within walking distance. First-timers are well served by Doubles, which splits the station work with a partner. Entries are sold by division on the official HYROX UK ticket page; UK editions have consistently filled, so secure your division as soon as sales open and check the wave schedule before booking travel.

Save the date: Wednesday, 20 January 2027. HYROX brings its indoor race format to Manchester, United Kingdom. The HYROX format is identical worldwide: eight 1 km runs, each followed by a functional workout station, in a fixed order from the 1,000 m SkiErg through sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry and sandbag lunges to 100 wall balls. There is no time cap.
