GYMRACE Amsterdam 1 may 2027

GYMRACE Amsterdam May 2027 takes place at RAI Amsterdam on 1 May 2027. GYMRACE is the indoor fitness race created by the team behind Mud Masters, and the organisers describe it as a huge gym with pumping beats, MCs and a vibrant community, with a challenging course for strength and endurance.

The course has five 1 km runs, 5 km in total, each followed by two stations, and finishes with a 50 m sprint. The ten stations are a sled push, wall balls, a slam ball carry, a 1,000 m row, kettlebell swings to overhead, a 1,000 m SkiErg, dumbbell farmers lunges, a 2,000 m bike, burpee broad jumps and the final sprint. The average finish time is about 1 hour 20 minutes and there is no cut-off. Amsterdam lists Solo, Buddies and Team Relay entries, each in men's, women's and mixed categories, and the relay is a newer addition where speed, strategy and teamwork collide.

The organisers suggest the Buddies category, in which two athletes split the station work, as the entry point for newer athletes, while Solo suits those with a solid running and gym base. Entries are sold through the official GYMRACE registration page.
