DEKA Lisboa 15 mai 2027

DEKA Lisboa 2027 takes place in Lisbon on 15 May 2027, part of the Iberian DEKA season that also includes Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia. DEKA is Spartan's standardised indoor fitness race: ten DEKA Zones, always the same and always in the same order, with zone splits and total time recorded against a global leaderboard.

The Lisbon programme lists DEKA FIT, which puts a 500 m run before each of the ten zones for 5 km of running in total, DEKA MILE, with 160 m runs adding up to one mile, and a two-person DEKA FIT team division. Zones combine carries, sled pushes and pulls, rowing and ski distances and bodyweight movements with set standards and penalties for missed reps.

Lisbon is a popular destination race for Spanish, French and British athletes, and a May date brings pleasant weather for a weekend around the event. The FIT team division is the easiest way in for athletes new to the format, splitting the zone work between two people while both run. DEKA MILE suits those who want the full zone test with minimal running; DEKA FIT is the flagship for hybrid athletes. The venue address and heat schedule are on the official Spartan page, where entries are sold.
