ATHX London 23 Jan 2027

ATHX London 2027 opens the new season on 23 January 2027 in the competition's home city. ATHX was co-founded by coach Ollie Marchon and has grown from a UK event into a series across Europe and the United States, but London remains its largest market and the race with the deepest field.

The format is a continuous 2.5-hour session across six zones. Every competitor completes the same three workouts, a 20-minute Strength zone, a 30-minute Endurance zone and a 30-minute MetCon X zone, separated by a warm-up zone, a refuel zone and a recovery zone. Workouts and movement standards are published for the season, so London is where athletes first race the 2027 tests that will carry through to the Finals.

London lists the widest spread of divisions: ATHX Individual and Pairs, ATHX Pro Individual and Pairs, and ATHX Lite Individual and Pairs. Lite is the entry level for athletes new to competition, Pro is the heaviest and most demanding, and pairs can be same-sex or mixed. Chalk, belts, knee sleeves and lifting gloves are allowed; straps are not. Spectator tickets are sold separately, and classes and workshops are offered around the competition.
