Spartan Race Boston 7 Nov 2026

Spartan takes over Fenway Park, America's oldest ballpark, for the 2026 Fenway Spartan Stadion Event Weekend on 7 and 8 November 2026. Stadion races are Spartan's no-mud format: a roughly 5 km course with about 20 obstacles built on the concrete, stairs and concourses of a sports stadium. At Fenway that means burpees in the clubhouse, obstacles along the Green Monster and a finish at home plate.

The course rewards leg power and stair stamina more than trail skills, and because it is largely on hard surfaces it is one of the more accessible Spartan events for city-based athletes who do not want to drive to a farm. A Kids race runs alongside the main event; check the day's schedule for which other entries are open.

Fenway is in central Boston with public transport on the Green Line, so no parking is needed. Spartan assigns heats by start time, and racing as a team is the only way to lock in the same start as your friends, with a group discount. Stadion suits first-timers and anyone who trains in a gym rather than on trails; the stair count makes it harder than it looks. Register via the official Spartan site.
