Spartan Race Sebring 19 Dec 2026

Skipper Ranch in Sebring hosts the 2026 Central Florida Spartan Trifecta Weekend on 19 and 20 December 2026. Spartan calls it one of Florida's toughest obstacle races: flat farmland, thick marsh and calf-deep mud, with more than twenty obstacles on every course. There are no hills, but the swampy ground punishes hesitation and makes every kilometre slower than it looks.

All three Trifecta distances are offered, the Sprint 5K, Super 10K and Beast 21K, with roughly 20, 25 and 30 obstacles respectively, so athletes can complete the full Spartan Trifecta in a single weekend. A Kids race and an Ultra are also listed. December brings warm Florida conditions, so hydration still matters even in winter.

Sebring is a few hours from both Orlando and Miami, which makes this a realistic destination race for athletes from either coast, and the organisers suggest Highlands Hammock State Park for a recovery walk afterwards. Spartan assigns heats by start time; team registration is the only way to guarantee the same start as your friends and comes with savings. Marsh and mud favour racers with patience and good footwear over pure speed; first-timers should pick the Sprint and expect wet feet from the start. Register on the official Spartan site.
