HYROX San Diego is set for 13 May 2027, one of the last stops of the 26/27 North American season. As at every HYROX, the race is held indoors in a large hall, with start waves running through the day and spectators able to see the whole course.

The format is unchanged from every other edition: eight rounds of a 1 km run followed by one functional workout station, from the SkiErg at the start to 100 wall balls at the finish, with Open and Pro loads. San Diego lists Individual Open, Individual Pro, Doubles Open, Doubles Pro and a four-person Relay.

A May date makes San Diego a natural target for anyone who missed out on an earlier race or wants one more attempt at a World Championship age-group slot through the Pro divisions before the season ends. Open has no cut-off time and suits first-timers with a steady running and strength base. Entries are sold per division on the official HYROX North America ticket page, where the venue and wave schedule are confirmed closer to the event; Californian editions have filled quickly, so register when sales open.
