HYROX 2026–2027: race dates, locations & tickets

HYROX is continuing its meteoric growth. The “World Series of Fitness Racing” has announced it’s adding another 47 races to the calendar for the 2025/26 season, making the total number of races this season over 100. **Remind me: ** Earlier this summer, HYROX hosted its 2024/25 World Championship race in Chicago, IL. The fitness race has become a huge fitness phenomenon among runners, CrossFitters, hybrid athletes, and even weightlifters. Most notably, Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr, who was crowned Fittest Woman on Earth for the eighth time, primarily trained for HYROX this past year. - **She competed at Worlds alongside James Newbury** in the Mixed Doubles division. She was scheduled to compete in the Women’s Pro Doubles Elite 15 with partner Joanna Wietrzyk but had to withdraw after falling ill a few days earlier. **The details:** HYROX has rapidly expanded in North America, with some races selling out within days and others in just minutes. The sport predicts that 1.2 million athletes will compete this season, which is a notable jump from the 650 participants at the inaugural 2017 Hamburg, Germany, race. - **“The demand for HYROX last year was incredible,** but we recognise that many athletes missed out on the opportunity to race at their preferred events, so we wanted to help fix that this season,” HYROX co-founder Moritz Furste said in a press release. **He went on:** “Last season was monumental for HYROX in terms of growth, and we plan to continue on this trajectory and keep working towards our ambitions for this sport.” **A complete list of new races can be found below:** … - **HYROX Hong Kong AWE**– May 8-10 - **HYROX Incheon**– May 16-17 - **HYROX Singapore National Stadium**– TBA - **HYROX Taipei**– TBA Separately, HYROX also announced a new flex ticketing system add-on that offers racers a refund option up to one day before the event. It also allows for one name change per ticket within a Doubles or Relay team. - **It’s likely we’ll see some of the top** CrossFit athletes compete in a HYROX race or two this season. Toomey-Orr’s training headquarters, PRVN Fitness, has made a significant investment in HYROX programming and coaching, while many local CrossFit gyms are now offering dedicated HYROX classes. **The bottom line: ** Whether it’s for fun or to achieve a personal best, the HYROX race truly welcomes everyone. The next race is scheduled for August 23, 2025, in Beijing, China. ## More CrossFit Stories - **A Review of the 2025 CrossFit Games – At-Home Spectator’s Edition** - **One Year Gone – Mourning the “Heart of Europe,” Lazar Ðukić** - **5 Epic Performances That Stole the Show at the 2025 CrossFit Games** *Featured Image: Scott Freymond *

**25 July 2025 – Hamburg, London, New York** HYROX, the global fitness racing series, has confirmed the second half of its 2025/26 season, adding 47 new events to the calendar. This brings the total number of races planned for the upcoming season to more than 100 — a reported 20% increase from last year. The expansion comes after what organisers describe as “unprecedented demand,” with over 650,000 participants competing during the 2024/25 season. Many events sold out quickly, prompting the addition of more races and cities for the next cycle. *“The demand for HYROX last year was incredible but we recognise that many athletes missed out on the opportunity to race at their preferred events, so we wanted to help fix that this season,”* said Moritz Fürste, Co-Founder at HYROX. *“By adding more races to the calendar – taking HYROX to new cities and countries globally – and increasing the number of days at events, we’ll see over one million athletes racing globally in 2026. Last season was monumental for HYROX in terms of growth, and we plan to continue on this trajectory and keep working towards our ambitions for this sport.”* The series began in Hamburg in 2017 with 650 competitors. Eight years later, HYROX now anticipates as many as 1.2 million participants in a single season. To accommodate this growth, organisers have also introduced a new “flex ticketing system” intended to improve access and help reduce sellouts. Ticket drop dates will vary by region and will be announced through regional newsletters and social media channels. ### Races added to the 2025/26 HYROX Season Calendar **Central & Eastern Europe** - St Gallen – Jan 16–18 - Turin – Jan 30–Feb 1 - Vienna – Feb 6–8 - Katowice – Feb 21–22 - Copenhagen – Mar 13–15 - Bologna – Apr 4–5 - Cologne – Apr 16–19 - Warsaw – Apr 16–19 - Helsinki – May 9–10 - Rimini – May 29–31 - Riga – May 30–31 - Berlin Tempelhof – Date TBA - Istanbul – Date TBA **Western Europe** - Manchester – Jan 21–25 - Amsterdam – Jan 22–25 - Bilbao – Feb 7–8 - Nice – Feb 12–15 - Toulouse – Mar 19–22 - Mechelen – Mar 27–29 - Rotterdam – Apr 16–19 - Malaga – Apr 16–19 - Barcelona – May 14–17 - Lyon – May 21–24 - Glasgow – Date TBA - London Olympia – Date TBA - Cardiff – Date TBA - Paris Grand Palais – Date TBA **The Americas** - Phoenix – Jan 29–Feb 1 - Las Vegas – Feb 20–22 - Houston – Mar 27–29 - Ottawa – May 16–17 - Washington DC – Date TBA - Miami Beach – Date TBA - New York City – Date TBA - Guadalajara – Date TBA - Monterrey – Date TBA - Puebla – Date TBA - Buenos Aires – Date TBA **Asia-Pacific (APAC)** - Auckland – Jan 29–Feb 1 - Osaka – Jan 30–31 - Bangkok – Mar 20–22 - Brisbane – Apr 9–12 - Bengaluru – Apr 11 - Hong Kong AWE – May 8–10 - Incheon – May 16–17 - Singapore National Stadium – Date TBA - Taipei – Date TBA HYROX’s decision to publish the full race calendar in advance is aimed at giving athletes more time to plan their season.
