HYROX Mexico City 29 oct 2026

HYROX Mexico City takes place on 29 October 2026 and, according to the organisers, demand for the 2026 edition exceeded all expectations: the official link currently points to a waiting list, where athletes can register their interest and be among the first to hear if places become available or additional registration windows open.

The race is the same HYROX test used everywhere: run 1 km, then complete one functional workout station, eight times in total. The stations are fixed, 1,000 m SkiErg, 50 m sled push, 50 m sled pull, 80 m burpee broad jumps, 1,000 m row, 200 m farmers carry, 100 m sandbag lunges and 100 wall balls, which is why a Mexico City time sits on the same global leaderboard as any other race. Mexico City lists Individual Open, Individual Pro, Doubles Open, Doubles Pro and a four-person Relay.

Mexico has one of the most enthusiastic HYROX communities in the Americas, and the capital's altitude of around 2,200 m makes the running segments noticeably harder for visiting athletes, so pacing the early laps conservatively is sensible. Open has no cut-off time; Pro divisions award World Championship age-group places. If you missed out, join the waiting list and watch the official HYROX Mexico channels for released places.
