HYROX Rio De Janeiro 21 nov 2026

For the second time, HYROX comes to Rio de Janeiro, racing at Riocentro in Barra da Tijuca on 21 November 2026. Riocentro is the city's main convention complex and an Olympic venue from 2016, and the organisers describe the event as the return of a race the Brazilian community has been waiting for since the first edition.

The course is the fixed HYROX format: eight rounds of a 1 km run followed by a functional workout station, always in the same order from the SkiErg to the wall balls. Rio runs Individual Open and Pro, Doubles Open and Pro, and the four-person Relay. Pro divisions use heavier weights and decide World Championship age-group qualification; Open has no cut-off time.

Brazil's HYROX scene has grown rapidly and the Rio edition is a focal point for athletes from across South America, so expect a loud, festive hall and a strong field in the Pro divisions. Barra da Tijuca is some way from the beachfront districts of Copacabana and Ipanema, so plan transport in advance. Entries are sold per division on the official HYROX Brazil ticket page, and the single Brazilian date of the season has been in heavy demand; if your division is unavailable, check back for released places.

HYROX llega a Rio De Janeiro, Brasil el sábado, 21 de noviembre de 2026 con una carrera bajo techo. No hay tiempo límite.
