DEKA Liverpool Waterfront 28 May 2027

The 2027 DEKA EMEA Championship is scheduled for the Liverpool Waterfront on 28 May 2027, bringing the regional championship for Europe, the Middle East and Africa to the UK. DEKA is Spartan's indoor functional fitness race built on ten fixed DEKA Zones, identical at every event, so a championship time in Liverpool is directly comparable with results anywhere in the world.

The Liverpool programme lists all three main formats, each available solo or as a two-person team: DEKA FIT, with a 500 m run before every zone for 5 km of running; DEKA MILE, with 160 m runs totalling one mile; and DEKA STRONG, the ten zones with no running.

Two-person team divisions make the championship accessible to athletes who want to share the load, while the solo heats attract the strongest age-group and elite competitors in the region. Check the official Spartan page for any qualification requirements for championship heats and for the exact venue address, which had not been published at the time of writing. DEKA STRONG is the gentlest entry for gym-goers who do not run; FIT suits hybrid athletes. Entries open on the official Spartan site.
