Metrix London 17 Apr 2027

METRIX London takes place on 17 April 2027, bringing the pairs-only fitness competition back to the city where it launched in 2025. METRIX, co-founded by Toby Spooner and Will McLaren, is pitched as an immersive fitness competition like no other: live DJs, nightclub-style production and lighting, a social recovery area with ice baths and saunas, and a £5,000 prize pool for the top teams.

The format is always in pairs. Teams move through five stations, SkiErg, burpees, rowing erg, bike erg, and sleds with shuttles, sharing the workload between partners however they choose, with event listings describing each station as a ten-minute block. Scoring is handled by technology rather than judges, with live tracking of every metre and rep, so the leaderboard updates as you race. London lists Male, Female and Mixed Pairs divisions.

Because the movements are simple and the split of work is up to each pair, METRIX is aimed at everyday athletes and first-timers as much as competitive teams, who get a prize-money target. It suits training partners and friends who want a race that feels like a night out as well as a workout. The venue is confirmed on the official METRIX site, where pairs register together.

Metrix London is set for Saturday, 17 April 2027: an indoor fitness race in London, United Kingdom. METRIX is a fitness competition for pairs that combines a workout with nightclub-style production: DJ sets, lighting and a social recovery area with ice baths and saunas.
