DEKA Blanchardstown 2 May 2027

The 2027 DEKA FIT Ireland takes place in Blanchardstown, on the north-western edge of Dublin, on 2 May 2027. It is Ireland's stop on the DEKA calendar and offers the flagship DEKA FIT format solo or as a two-person team.

DEKA is Spartan's indoor functional fitness race, built around ten fixed DEKA Zones completed in the same order at every event in the world. DEKA FIT puts a 500 m run before each zone, for 5 km of running in total. Zones combine carries, sled pushes and pulls, rowing and ski distances and bodyweight movements with set standards, and each zone time is recorded along with the overall result so athletes can track progress between races and against the global leaderboard.

The two-person team division splits the zone work between partners while both run, which makes Blanchardstown a realistic first fitness race for gym-goers and runners who have never done one. Solo heats are organised by level, including Elite and Age Group, for competitive athletes. Blanchardstown is reachable by bus from the city centre and sits just off the M50, with plenty of parking. Check the official Spartan page for the exact venue address and heat schedule, and register there.
