DEKA Atlanta 7 Nov 2026

DEKA comes to the Georgia World Congress Center in downtown Atlanta on 7 and 8 November 2026 with DEKA FIT and an Ultra option. DEKA is Spartan's indoor functional fitness race, built around the same ten DEKA Zones at every event so that times are comparable from race to race and against a global leaderboard.

DEKA FIT puts a 500 m run before each of the ten zones, for 5 km of running in total; DEKA MILE shortens the runs to 160 m for a mile overall, and DEKA STRONG is the ten zones with no running. Atlanta lists all three formats, and the Ultra, a much longer version with 50 zones and 25 km of running, is on the weekend's programme for athletes who want an endurance test.

The convention centre location puts the race a short walk from downtown hotels and MARTA. Finishing STRONG, MILE and FIT in one calendar year earns the DEKA Trifecta, and heats are split into Elite, Age Group, Teams and Ruck so there is an appropriate level for most athletes. DEKA STRONG is the easiest entry point for gym-goers who do not run; DEKA FIT suits hybrid athletes. Sign up on the official Spartan site.
