Tough Mudder Atlanta 24 Apr 2027

Tough Mudder Atlanta 2027 takes place on 24 April 2027 at Bouckaert Farm in Fairburn, Georgia, roughly half an hour south-west of downtown Atlanta. The venue is a large equestrian estate with open fields and woodland, and the organisers' own description makes clear this is a muddy day out rather than a pristine Sunday stroll.

Tough Mudder is a team-focused obstacle course event. Atlanta offers the Tough Mudder 5K, with 12 or more obstacles, and the Tough Mudder 15K, with 20 or more obstacles over roughly 15 km, including signature obstacles such as the enclosed tube climbed under a fire hose. Participants are encouraged to help each other through the course, and finishers in 2027 earn a finisher tee and the famous headband.

Most people sign up as a team, and Tough Mudder sells group packages for companies and clubs. Parking and bag-drop fees can be prepaid at checkout, spectators can buy Mudder Village passes online for less than at the gate, and volunteering earns a discounted entry. Late April in Georgia is usually warm and humid, so hydrate well. The 5K suits newcomers and groups; the 15K needs solid running fitness and upper-body strength. Register on the official Tough Mudder site.
