Tough Mudder Los Angeles 20 Mar 2027

Tough Mudder Los Angeles 2027 is staged at Lake Elsinore Raceway on 20 March 2027, using the Diamond Stadium and its surrounding motocross tracks about 70 miles south-east of downtown LA. The organisers promise sun-baked SoCal scrubland, winding single-track and arid ridges with just enough elevation to hurt, before the course drops into the basin for the mud.

The event offers the Tough Mudder 5K with 12 or more obstacles, the 15K with 20 or more, and Infinity, where racers get first access to the fresh 15K course and then add chip-timed 15K or 5K laps within the time limit, chasing the 50-mile club. Signature obstacles include the rolling mud mounds and a 500 lb block that takes a whole team to rotate, and Tough Mudder is designed to be completed as a team rather than raced.

March in the Inland Empire can already be warm, so bring sun protection and plenty of water. Parking and bag-drop can be prepaid at checkout and spectators can buy Mudder Village passes online. The 5K is the entry point for newcomers and groups, the 15K and Infinity are for athletes with solid running fitness and grip strength. Registration is through the official Tough Mudder site.

Tough Mudder Los Angeles is set for Saturday, 20 March 2027: an outdoor fitness race in Los Angeles, United States. Tough Mudder is a team-first obstacle course event: a muddy 5K with 12 or more obstacles or a 15K with 20 or more, built around teamwork rather than finishing times. Signature obstacles include Arctic Enema, Mudderhorn and Electroshock Therapy.
