Spartan Race Snohomish 1 May 2027

The 2027 Seattle Spartan Event Weekend is held at Meadow Wood Equestrian Center near Snohomish, about an hour north-east of Seattle. Spartan describes it as a 900-acre former Arabian horse farm set where three rivers meet, with wooded trails and the long, technical obstacle sections the Pacific Northwest events are known for. The weekend is scheduled for 1 May 2027.

Spartan races are off-road obstacle courses: the Sprint covers roughly 5 km with about 20 obstacles, the Super 10 km with 25, and the Beast 21 km with 30, mixing walls, carries, crawls and the spear throw with trail running. Seattle lists Sprint, Super and Beast plus a Kids race, and the Spartan listing also shows an Ultra, so check which distances are open on your preferred day.

Spartan assigns start times by heat, and racing as a team is the only way to guarantee the same start time as your friends, with a discount for group entries. Expect long queues at parking and check-in if you arrive late in the morning. The Sprint suits first-timers with a basic running base; the Beast is a serious half-marathon-plus with obstacles and rewards grip strength and hill fitness.
