HYROX Madrid 17 Mar 2027

HYROX Madrid takes over IFEMA, the capital's exhibition centre by the airport metro line, for five days from 17 March 2027. It is the flagship Spanish event and one of the larger European races, with waves running from morning to evening every day and the main Pro and Doubles heats packed into the weekend.

The course is the same as every HYROX on the planet: run 1 km, do a station, repeat eight times, finishing on 100 wall balls. Open divisions use standard weights, Pro divisions heavier ones, Doubles pairs share each station while running together, and the Relay splits the race across four athletes. World Championship age-group places are awarded through the Pro divisions.

Madrid suits first-timers because the five-day schedule offers quieter weekday waves, and experienced athletes because the field is deep and fast. The organisers make a point of the city itself, so most visiting athletes stay for a long weekend. Entries are sold by division through the official HYROX Spain ticket page; if your category is full, join the notification list for returned places rather than giving up, as spots are regularly released in the weeks before the race.

Save the date: Wednesday, 17 March 2027. HYROX brings its indoor race format to Madrid, Spain. The HYROX format is identical worldwide: eight 1 km runs, each followed by a functional workout station, in a fixed order from the 1,000 m SkiErg through sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry and sandbag lunges to 100 wall balls. There is no time cap.

You can enter HYROX Madrid in 6 divisions: Singles (Solo, from €130), Pro Singles (Solo, from €130), Doubles (Pairs, from €125 per person), Pro Doubles (Pairs, from €125 per person), Relay (Team of 4, from €89 per person), and Adaptive (Solo, from €130). Registration is open, with the cheapest entry at €89. Our last availability check was on 22 Oct 2026.
