HYROX Bilbao 6 Feb 2027

HYROX Bilbao returns in February 2027 at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre in Barakaldo, a short metro ride west of the city centre. The organisers position it as one of the key stops of the Spanish 26/27 season, and the Basque crowd has a reputation for making noise in the hall.

For the uninitiated, the race is eight repetitions of 1 km of running plus one functional station, ending with 100 wall balls. The station order is fixed at every HYROX, so your Bilbao time is directly comparable with any other race. Divisions are Individual Open, Individual Pro, Doubles Open, Doubles Pro and the four-person Relay; Pro divisions use heavier weights and are where World Championship age-group places are won.

Bilbao is a good pick if you want a serious race without the scale of Madrid or Barcelona: the venue is easy to navigate, the running laps are wide and the compact city makes for an easy weekend. If your chosen division is already full, HYROX Spain runs a notification list and releases returned places through it. Entries are sold on the official HYROX Spain ticket page; Doubles is a sensible first entry for training partners, while the Pro divisions reward athletes with real strength under fatigue.

HYROX comes to Bilbao, Spain on Saturday, 6 February 2027 for an indoor race. The HYROX format is identical worldwide: eight 1 km runs, each followed by a functional workout station, in a fixed order from the 1,000 m SkiErg through sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry and sandbag lunges to 100 wall balls. There is no time cap.
