HYROX Helsinki 16 Apr 2027

Finnish demand surprised the organisers: after a December debut, HYROX visits Helsinki for a second time in the same season, with a three-day competition at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre (Messukeskus) in April 2027. The venue sits in Pasila, one train stop north of the central station, and is the country's largest exhibition hall.

HYROX is an indoor fitness race in which athletes run 1 km and then complete one functional workout station, repeated eight times, from the SkiErg at the start to wall balls at the finish. The course and weights are identical at every race worldwide, so results feed a single global leaderboard. Helsinki offers Individual Open and Pro, Doubles Open and Pro, and the Relay.

If you raced the December edition, the April date is the chance to measure a winter of training; if not, the Open divisions have no time cap and no qualification requirement. Doubles, where a pair shares every station, is the easiest way to try the format. Tickets were listed as coming soon at the time of writing, so watch the official HYROX Finland ticket page for the release and expect the smaller Nordic events to fill quickly once they open.

HYROX comes to Helsinki, Finland on Friday, 16 April 2027 for an indoor race. The HYROX format is identical worldwide: eight 1 km runs, each followed by a functional workout station, in a fixed order from the 1,000 m SkiErg through sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry and sandbag lunges to 100 wall balls. There is no time cap.

6 divisions are offered at HYROX Helsinki: Singles (Solo, from €125), Pro Singles (Solo, from €125), Doubles (Pairs, from €120 per person), Pro Doubles (Pairs, from €120 per person), Relay (Team of 4, from €60 per person), and Adaptive (Solo, from €125).
