HYROX Lyon 12 May 2027

Lyon gets a HYROX of its own on 12 May 2027, giving athletes in the Rhône-Alpes region a race without the trip to Paris or Toulouse. Like every HYROX it is an indoor event staged in a large hall, with start waves scheduled through the day.

The test is the same one used at every HYROX in the world: run 1 km, then complete one functional workout station, eight times in total. The stations are fixed, from the 1,000 m SkiErg to 100 wall balls, which is why a time from Lyon ranks directly against results from any other city. Divisions listed are Individual Open, Individual Pro, Doubles Open, Doubles Pro and the four-person Relay.

There is no time cap and no qualifying standard for Open entry, so Lyon suits first-timers who run and lift regularly as well as experienced racers chasing World Championship age-group places in Pro. Doubles is the most forgiving introduction, with a partner sharing the station reps. Register through the official HYROX France ticket page once entries open, and have a second-choice division ready, since French editions have sold through quickly.

HYROX comes to Lyon, France on Wednesday, 12 May 2027 for an indoor race. The HYROX format is identical worldwide: eight 1 km runs, each followed by a functional workout station, in a fixed order from the 1,000 m SkiErg through sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry and sandbag lunges to 100 wall balls. There is no time cap.

You can enter HYROX Lyon in 5 divisions: Singles (Solo), Pro Singles (Solo), Doubles (Pairs), Pro Doubles (Pairs), and Relay (Team of 4). HYROX has not published prices for this date yet.
